About the Movie:
The true story of Titanic's maiden voyage is told from the perspective of 100-year-old Rose Calvert, who was a first-class passenger on the luxury ocean liner in April 1912. She was 17 then, known as Rose Dewitt Bukater. Being forced to marry a man she doesn't love, she makes a decision that will change her life forever when she's saved by third-class passenger Jack Dawson. As their relationship grows, they fall in love and plan to run away together when the ship docks. But it doesn't dock again, as an iceberg cuts the cruise short and, within less than two hours, the largest (at the time) passenger ship sinks to the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean. While this transpires, Jack and Rose find themselves fighting an arranged marriage, jealous fiance, below-freezing air and water temperatures, and many more unexpected obstacles as they try to survive.
